Under The Bonnet.

Nobody sees the engine bay until the moment it matters: the buyer's inspection, the mechanic's quote, the pop of the bonnet at a meet.

B / 01

Leaks Show Themselves

On a degreased engine, fresh oil or coolant stands out immediately. A clean bay is the cheapest diagnostic tool you can buy before a road trip or after a repair.

B / 02

Serious Sale Signal

Buyers and inspectors read a clean engine bay as a maintained car. It's one of the highest-leverage hours you can spend before listing a car for sale.

B / 03

Easier, Cleaner Servicing

Mechanics work faster and cleaner on a degreased engine, and you'll actually top up fluids yourself when you don't get filthy doing it.

Protects Rubber & Plastic

The dressing we finish with feeds hoses, covers, and wiring insulation instead of leaving them to dry out and crack under heat.

Show & Meet Ready

If the bonnet goes up at cars and coffee, the bay is part of the presentation. We finish it factory-satin, not dripping in silicone shine.

No Pressure Washer.

The horror stories all start with a garden hose or pressure washer in the engine bay. We use controlled steam and targeted degreaser, and everything sensitive gets covered first.

Step 01

Cool Down & Cover

Work starts on a cool engine. Alternator, fuse boxes, intakes, and exposed connectors covered before anything gets wet.

Step 02

Dry Clean First

Leaves, dirt, and debris blown and vacuumed out of channels and the cowl, so degreaser works on grease rather than mud.

Step 03

Targeted Degreasing

Degreaser applied panel by panel and agitated with brushes. Heavy build-up around rocker covers and steering components gets extra attention.

Step 04

Steam Rinse

Steam lifts the emulsified grime with minimal moisture. No flooding, no water forced into connectors, no drama when you hit the key.

Step 05

Dry & Dress

The bay dried thoroughly, then plastics, hoses, and covers finished with a heat-safe dressing for a clean factory-satin look.

Common Questions.

The questions we get asked on almost every quote. If yours isn't here, WhatsApp us and you'll get an answer from the person who does the work, not a call centre.

Is it safe to clean a modern engine bay?

Yes, done properly. The risk comes from pressure-washing electronics. We cover sensitive components and use low-moisture steam, so nothing gets flooded.

Will the car start fine afterwards?

Yes. The engine is cool before we start, electronics stay covered and dry, and we run the car up to temperature before handover.

Can you clean a leaking or very oily engine?

Yes, heavy degreasing is half the point. Bad leaks may re-soil quickly until they're repaired, and a clean bay makes that repair much easier to pinpoint and quote.

Do you do show car engine bays?

Yes. Painted covers, polished metal, and dress-up parts get individual treatment. Tell us what the car is and we'll quote it properly.

How much does it cost?

Depends on how much build-up we're removing. WhatsApp a photo of the bay to 0402 781 691 and we'll give you a straight number.
